How did you get involved?
A friend just kept asking me to come to a meeting. It finally got to the point where I could not say no any longer, so I went and had a great time.
Leadership roles you’ve had in your club/district/MoFRW?
Club Treasurer, Club Secretary, Club Vice President, Club President, 5th Congressional District Secretary, 5th Congressional Vice President, 5th Congressional President, MoFRW Parliamentarian, MoFRW Membership Secretary
Why are you a member?
It is so much fun to be around intelligent, well informed women. I find the meetings are a mental health break from the craziness of the world.
What is the benefit to being involved in club/district/MoFRW/NFRW?
As a group, we have a larger voice to affect the political scene. The clubs are a place for interesting meetings and making great friends.
What is your advice to someone thinking of joining?
Give a club a try, you might learn something, and meet some fun people.
What are your interests/hobbies/activities outside the MoFRW?
I like to sew, read, and play words with friends.
What is your favorite memory (memories) being a member of your club/MoFRW?
I enjoy the conventions. It is a chance to get together with like-minded women from across the state. We always have such a great time.

I have been married to Tom for 38 years. We have 3 kids (OK they are adults, but they will always be my kids) and 1 granddaughter.
