The Federated Republican Women of Lafayette County was organized September of 1931. The club meets the fourth Thursday of the month March through October.
The usual meeting place is Lafayette Hall downtown Lexington. Since the last redistricting Lafayette County is a part of the 5th Congressional District.
Long time club member, Kay Hoflander, Lafayette County Central Committee Chair, is Vice-Chair of the Missouri GOP. Six members are Lafayette County office holders. Three associate members are Lafayette County office holders and are the husbands of club members. The club’s past president, Lana Crain, is the MoFRW 2nd Vice-President for the 2018 - 2019 term.
The club works closely with the Lafayette County Central Committee. New members are always wanted to spread the patriotic goals and principles of the Republican party.
